“This is where this story begins. On a planet where there was nothing. And that’s why Goat came. To make, invent, create things to put on this empty planet. That was her job: Inventing worlds. And she had been doing it for… At least 10,000 years. She was much older than that. She was… 50 or 60,000 years old!

You might be wondering how I know all this? Because I was there. I accompanied Goat on each of her journeys.”

Feather tells us about that time when, in the great cosmic silence, they found… a fish. A tiny red dot suspended in nothingness. As the Goat-goddess plunges her hooves into the primordial waters to shape strange beings, the world takes form. Colors emerge, life awakens, imagination opens.

JOUR BLEU explores the origins of the world through a fantastic and contemporary aesthetic, at the crossroads of ancient myths, visual poetry and storytelling. It is a sensory experience, carried by dreamlike deities, sculptural puppets, video images and the fragile presence of a small goldfish.

The show invites children to imagine their own creation myth, to dream of a world to rebuild. A world where color becomes an act of resistance and hope. A world where a new day would dawn, all blue.
