In this bold offering for young audiences, we delve into the primordial chaos, just before the fifth creation of the world—that of the plastic age. The world is empty… except for a small goldfish in its bowl, a burst of life in the void. Touched, the Goat Goddess seeks inspiration to invent colorful creatures. The Messenger God recounts this birth of the world, where a blue day finally appears. Through storytelling, visual poetry, and direct communication with the audience, children are invited to dream, to imagine a world in the making, vibrant with color and possibilities.

Patrick Péris, the official filmmaker for Les Grands Ballets Canadiens and a specialist in artist portraits of exceptional sensitivity, will work on a cinematic version of the show SEUILS. With director José Babin, they will create a film where the camera offers an intimate experience where viewers will feel as though they are on stage with the actors. More than a simple recording, this filmed work is an adaptation, a vision of digital art that intersects with that of live performance.

Thanks to Julie Carmel and Sandra Berrouard who served as models for the casts.

Three universes are installed in a room. Three spaces containing the remains of three people who supposedly lived there: the angry mother, the teenager on the brink, and the overly frivolous grandmother. All three are on the threshold of something, at the moment when everything could change. The audio and visual journey appeals to the senses and gradually reveals a common thread that the viewer will fill with their own experience. The only living being is the unique viewer.

There are fish in the sea.
If you look through the porthole, you can see them dancing.
They’re selling fish.
Underwater,
But it’s a secret.
Don’t tell anyone!

You’re invited to look through the portholes
to see what’s hidden in the magic box.
Children can color a fish on the table;
it will join the other fish hanging from the window.
