Carried by a succession of physical and visual tableaux, the show explores resistance, memory and the power of the living. Poetic images — sometimes strange, sometimes luminous — reveal fragments of humanity in which everyone can see themselves reflected.

This international creation brings together Théâtre Incliné (Québec), recognized for its theatre of matter and contemporary puppetry, and RISA (Finland), an acrobatic duo whose work sits at the boundary between circus and dance. Together, the two companies are inventing a new scenic language in which fragmented puppets, acrobatic bodies and visual poetry converge.

Developed through a series of residencies in Québec, Finland, Sweden and Denmark, the project is being created in collaboration with major partners in the Nordic performing arts. The world premiere is scheduled for 2028.

PROJECT PROGRESS

A two-week residency in Helsinki in May 2026 brought our two disciplines together for the first time. This initial stage gave rise to striking images that will feed into the creation. We also explored several puppetry approaches: fragmented puppets coexist beautifully with the bodies of the acrobat-dancers. This residency also allowed us to lay the foundations of a scenographic concept and establish the first musical directions for the project.
