This show was developed during successive creative residencies at Teatro Gioco Vita (Italy), the Maison des arts de Laval, FAIT de l’Assomption and Casteliers (Quebec).

When I was 8 years old, my father bought me snakeskin cowboy boots.
They made a lot of noise when I walked.
I became visible.
People at the drive-in would tell me:
You’ve got mighty fine boots, young man.
Just like your dad.

Among the scrap cars that have taken over his childhood drive-in, Pierre-Yves settles accounts with the ghost of his old cowboy father. The weather begins to take on a frosty chill … until an angel crashes into the lamppost next to the ramshackle movie screen.

A poetic two-step between an actor, a mannequin, and his double, surrounded by shadows and video images.
